i think that you need to take a step back and look at what your actually believing in b/c you want to be a real catholic who actually believes what the church teaches.
i have heard you condemn homosexuality and global warming but the church teaches that both are different than what your saying.
it says people are born homosexual and that global warming is real.
@ned26262 The church condemns homosexual acts as being immoral, just the same as the chruch condemns sex outside of marriage as being equally immoral. The church also takes the stance that irregardless of whether global warming is correct or not, being green is intrinsically good if you can afford it. Initially the church had not collected the information it now has available and surely believed socio-political sources, as did we all. Now however, we can clearly see and separate lies and truth.
@ned262626 Just to clarify. The church (and neither do I) condemn people who have a homosexual orientation. Our cantor at church is gay, but he lives a chaste life, and is in a state of grace. Its his choice, and he has been blessed by the grace he has received. Read canon #2357 to #2359 from the catechism of the catholic church. Catholicism is exoteric in its teachings, which means, no priest, or bishop has the right to teach anything different from the catechism.
