I have always attended church regularly, but due to my husbands health issues we can not attend on a regular basis and I miss the gathering of yourselves together . I miss the fellowship with my chruch family. I do not fell guilty because we can not attend like we used to; I just miss it greatly. I miss the bible studies, the worshiping together and the other chuch members. I can not bring myself to go to church without him because it was a Sunday morning when I was at chruch that he had a massive heart attack and almost died. We were getting ready for churc that particular Sunday and he said that he thought that he might be getting the flu because he just did not feel well. I told him to go back to bed and get some rest and I would see him after chruch….

There is a trick I learned years ago when studying ancient religions, other gods, and different (pseudo or semi) beliefs that stem one way or another from the Bible. I used this trick when studying the difference in Christian creeds. I use it sometimes when reading blogs even on Christianblog. The trick? Any Christian can do it and should now and again; I take a minute and review my own personal testimony. That first time the Holy Spirit pried my eyes and heart open enough to see God, his Son, and my true self.I think for this blog I will share that testimony and perhaps you might feel free to share yours if you desire. Short back story Family went to Church until I was five I remember one thing from that time I asked my Father what being baptized was the reply was I would be told when I was…
