God, I do not understand that you said that David was a man after Your heart. When I look at him I say he was disobedient, a murderer, an idolater, a wife stealer, a man who didn t correct his children, and a polygamist. Yet You say he was a man after your heart? His personal foibles would be fodder for newsprint today. I m pretty certain he could not have been electable for any office in this day and age. In fact he was run out of Office two times no less than by two of his own children. The scandals in his own family would certainly have seen him out of office. His son raped his sister.
My Dearest friend Judy gave me a quote pertaining adoption the day she came by to meet Dylan for the first time in person. Judy had seen pictures of him sent to us by the adoption agency from Guatemala all throughout the adoption process, but this was the first time she got to hold him in her arms. Judy has signed a personal affidavit vouching for my husband s and mine own character as worthy potential adoptive parents, and now she was offering me her loving hand in support once again in a very special way. The lines read: You didnt grow under my heart, but in it.I had never read that quote before, but I fell in love with the truth that the simply written line contained. Judy wasn t sure where it had come from. She just found the verse, thought it fit perfectly and presented it to…

A new heart, a new year, follow the footsteps of Jesus, Yeshua. A hand outstretched, Come over here. Walk with Me, the path is clear. Dont be in a hurry, take your time, My love will settle in your heart and mind. Find a quiet peace time in the day. Sit in silence, learn and pray. Be with Me, choose My life, I am yours. Were going forward now. Dont turn back, the way is not there. Im Jesus, forever guiding you on, look to Me. Read My word. Believe in Me. I carry a sword, I go before you into the enemys lands.Jesus said in John 14:1521 If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Jesus always did the Fathers will and that included who He called to be His disciples. The men who ended up living with Jesus, traveling with Him, learning from Him and commissioned by Him were the men God wanted to do these things. Bypassed in the selection process were multitudes of more outwardly qualified people with higher IQs and more education or training. Why were these men not called and a group of fishermen, tax collectors and common folks called instead? When Samuel came to the house of Jesse to anoint the next king of Israel, he bypassed all of the older, bigger and stronger sons and sought out the youngest and least qualified son (David) to anoint. When God needed a man to announce the coming of the Messiah, He chose a wild man who ate locusts and was a social misfit (John). When Jesus chose which disciple should be…

We all have the right to live our own lives and do whatever we please, however we must keep in mind that consequence is awaiting behind every action that we make. Consequence is not always bad as most of us may think. It depends solely on what you choose for the outcome. The biggest problem that most people have is the M.I. (ME, I.) Virus. We must stop allowing ourselves to become infected with the M.I. Virus. Examples of the M.I. Virus are: If it dont benefit ME then I dont care. If I aint getting mines, then I aint doing it. No one cares about ME or what I want. I want this, or You make ME mad. We have to understand that we were not created to serve ourselves. We were created to serve God so that God can bless us, then we can be a blessing to…

They give no more than they dare not withhold; they abstain from nothing but what they must not practice [and] … they know Christianity only as a system of restraints. She is despoiled of every liberal and generous principle: she is rendered almost unfit for the social intercourses of life, and is only suited to the gloomy walls of that cloister, in which they would confine her. But true Christians consider themselves not as satisfying some rigorous creditor, but as discharging a debt of gratitude. Theirs is accordingly not the stinted return of a constrained obedience, but the large and liberal measure of a voluntary service.”

It contained 13 trumpetshaped receptacles for contributions brought by worshipers. Both men and women alike were allowed to put in money offerings. In (V41), it says: …many rich people threw in large amounts. No doubt, there were some platesplashers who wanted people to take notice of their sizable contributions.
Marriage My Heart Cry .. As I venture in this commitment called marriage I have noticed the joy and agony that comes with it. Sometimes my mind seems so confused as if wow did I make the wrong decision, or did I completely think this thing through It s funny how in the world they divorce like they change underwear and unfortunately so do us Christians.. What I have noticed is the thought might cross your mind when your emotions are high and flesh is weak, but the reason to stay in a marriage isn t for the other person. As much as my emotions want to run, my heart cries out to God in that the commitment was to him first to stay in this covenant with our husbands. At times the person who you signed up with this life long journey is not who nor what you thought…

I get out of school today thinking I had made it through most of the day without incident. Get home, throw down the book bag, sit down to check email and my soon to be exhusband tells me how proud he is that I am going back to school, tells me I look nice and I keep waiting for the hatchet to fall, which it does and the words I hear next dumbfound me.
