They could not understand how the one who had performed such miracles had faced such a bloody and gruesome death and had not escaped from it. Many unclear and unscriptural terms are being used today in presenting the gospel. Gods Word says, Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech (II Corinthians 3:12).
