Oh it was so funny at church this morning. The sermon was all about the joy we experience when we release our idols and step into the freedom that Christ offers. The preacher went on to say how so many Christians wander round with the most miserable faces instead of joyful ones… ..then it came to communion and I couldnt stop chuckling. On one side we had the smiley team and on the other, the ones who looked like they had never experienced joy in their life! I know communion is serious, but really… Jesus was at a meal with friends eating, drinking, having a good time. I thought particularly after the sermon, all those ministering communion might least have had a small welcoming smile on their faces! I couldnt stop chuckling… I know, cast me out now!!Oh Lord, more joy for me please and more joy for the church!…
