Actually there are many who do care. Every year when I watch the March for Life more and more people show up.
Prolifers she talk to the senators in their states to start to outlaw abortion is some states because-now- I think we have enough stability to do so.
I bet most folks don’t realize they are being forced to pay for abortions in foreign countrys through income taxes. I bet most folks don’t know we are being forced to fund abortions here in the states. Many live in a state of blissful ignorance because once a thing is known and action is called for, many would rather do nothing and stuff that bit of obligatory guilt behind a distant door in their mind. Thank God this tyrannic gov is waking the sleeping giant, and it is getting out of bed angry.
I thought it was the Righties who want to amend the Constitution to redefine marriage according to their narrow view. Look, marriage is a 2-headed beast. 1st, the legal relationship between 2 people. That is what the states are wrestling with. 2nd are the religious aspects which anyone is free to practice as they believe. These are 2 seperate and unrelated issues which the Right gets all mixed up. If 2 people are in a committed relationship, why not give them the same rights the rest of us have?

I agree with you, Late term abortions are performed regularly everyday. There are so many clinics in minority neighborhoods that do this. It is absolutely population control. That is what Margaret Sanger and PP is all about since founded. To control the population of the “lower class”.

While I commend your admiration for the existence of mankind I find some flaws in your argument. Last time I checked abortions were still being performed under George W Bush; the Republican’s had control for eight years and nothing changed with abortion rights; but now that a Democrat is in office Abortion is back in the chopping block for social conservatives.
Which is odd, because George W Bush started a war that ended the lives of many human beings, but very few on the right side of the isle drove the “Truth Wagons” in front of the White House to illustrate the importance of life. Babies aren’t babies forever, eventually they become adults, when that happens do their lives become any less important?
With that said, what is to become of these children that aren’t financially stable? Welfare programs such as food stamps, and government assisted living, often carry the same stigma as abortion in the eyes of social conservatives; it’s as if the pro life agenda could careless about embryo after it’s carried to full term.
Whether you’re pro-choice, or pro-life, I think we can all agree on one thing: this America isn’t the same America our parents grew up in. In the 1950s a man fresh out of High School could support a family on a job, today people with college degrees are flipping burgers at a Wendy’s trying to support themselves. No one is pro abortion, it’s a horrible thing to go through, but many people that make that choice do so because they feel like it’s the lesser of two evils.
