I love you, Jesus. I want you to walk with me, I’ll take good care of you
baby. Call you my baby, baby! You died for my sins, and you know that I
would die for you, right? What’s the matter, baby? You tremble at Jesus,
baby! Your love. . . is my life! You know when I’m without you, there’s a
black hole in my life! Oo-ohhh! I wanna believe. It’s all right, ’cause I
get lonely in the night and it’s up to you to Save me! Jee. . . sus. . . bay-by!
Don’t ever leave me, Jesus. I couldn’t stand to see you go. My heart would
simply snap, my Lord, if you walked on out that door. I promise I’ll be
good to you, and keep you warm at night. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, why don’t we
just. . . shut off the lights.
Yes I may be born again, but I was wasn’t born again yesterday. I wanna get
down on my knees and start pleasing Jesus! I wanna feel his salvation all
over my face!

Evolution is racist and ridiculous especially when the answer is RIGHT
HIGHEST RULING AUTHORITY. They created everything, everyone and SCIENCE. No
other Religion, PHILOSOPHY or idealogy ect exist. Jesus Christ SHED HIS

What do you mean there is no proof God doesn’t exist?
There certainly is proof that the God of Creation does not exist.
Man evolved, he was not created.
If there is some other God who does exist, it is not the God Christians
There was never an Adam and Eve, Talking Snake or Original Sin.
The purpose of Jesus was to reestablish the covenant between man and God
broken by Adam in Eden (Original Sin).
Because the Original Sin never occurred; Jesus had no purpose and
Christianity is invalid!

We know that people have ownership over themselves. If Bob throws a rock at
you, we understand that it would be irrational to blame Steve for Bob’s
action. This is because Bob has ownership over himself, and is therefore
responsible for his own actions. Holding Steve responsible for Bob’s action
would be objectively incorrect. If someone were to rape Bob, they would be
violating Bob’s ownership over himself. Therefore, rape is objectively
wrong. To say otherwise is to deny self ownership.

There’s an argument against rape that has nothing to do with religion.

for people who want to see a good movie on religion: Go see “Luther”. It is
about the hipocricy of the Church and how it took advantage of the poor and
used their power in order to gain more power and wealth. I had to watch it
for school, and I have to say it was very interesting.

One thing I just love is the way many Christians will dismiss any other
mythology(especially those with miracles, supernatural happenings, and
exceptional births, which is most of them) as obviously untrue and
superstitious, while blindly clinging to the absolute truth of their own
when, in fact, it’s pretty much all the same stuff. Only the names have
been changed to deceive the ignorant.

@ TheMightyStriker-the question is “Why the heck should one choose to be
good at the first place?” Suppose your son who is strongly built asks you
that he wants to be a professional robber just because he loves to do that
and he does not mind being beaten or put to jail. Also he does not care how
you or anyone else feel about it. How would you convince him not to take
that path. Believe me, you DONT have the answer. After all thats only a
matter of chance.

To buy into secularism is to buy into the idea of a Utopia. Since when has
America recently come across as any form of Utopia? Our government
incarcerates more citizens than any other country. We went from a
Constitutional Republic to a debtor nation whose president can incarcerate
anyone for any amount of time without a trial. NDAA. There is no such thing
as a sovereign nation that answers to a foreign institution of any
background. This secular society has engaged in 2 world wars, debt
enslavement, defrauding the public, murder, genocide, torture, extortion,
mass incarceration (most in the world) and psychological enslavement. What
are we holding on to? Jesus named names and went against the money
printers. So he is demonized. Mohammed is essentially the same
representation, but arguably more pragmatic. You can’t discount what the
majority of humans believe in as just fairy tales. You have to read between
the lines.

Mocking 2,500+ year old rape laws makes no sense. It’s like mocking ancient
scientists for using primitive instruments. Without the foundation of the
past, however crude it may be, we would not be where we are today.

An intellectually honest atheist can’t have it both ways. If you don’t
believe in any god, then you have no reason to expect an ancient
civilization to adhere to your modern morality. In 4500, how will we be
judged for our current laws and politics?

5:25 Responding to how science can tell good from evil you say,

“People have evolved different social constructs based on what is
convenient for them to survive and reproduce. It’s evolution 101. ”

Social constructs like a tradition of raping the enemy’s women rather than
killing them? So rape was good in Biblical times as it provided a survival
advantage for both the rapists (more offspring and future soldiers) and the
victims (mating instead of being killed)? I expect the victims forced to
marry their rapists also had a better chance of survival and reproduction
than an ostracized single mother in 500 BC would’ve had.

Is your science compatible with your morality?

MegaSwissWatch November 17, 2013

The more you make videos the more you convince me that atheism doesn’t
exist! everybody believes in a higher power on some level. That guy in the
video seem very good I may check out his cool channel

Jeroen Goossens November 17, 2013

I wonder how he would think about the “right to ones body” If the church
came out and said “all men need to have their nuts chopped off and their
sperm needs to be frozen for later use. Because all men masturbate or have
night time fun dreams and every time they do millions of potential lives
get lost and thrown away on sanitary napkins. ”

Dávid Abonyi November 17, 2013

“Science can’t tell the difference between good and evil. ” Man, it’s
f@ckin’ RELATIVE! There is no “basic morality” because every culture
develope it’s own, and every person develope his/her own based on them.
Idiot. . .

Anthony Senn November 17, 2013

Christians often exclaim that they are privy to knowing they that worship
the one true god. Many even say that gods such as Allah, Buddha, Thor, Zeus
etc are not real gods. Yet the first commandment states “Thou shalt have no
other gods before me. ” So doesn’t that, in itself, prove that the Christian
god knew there were other gods?

1955RodHot November 17, 2013

The moment someone claims science and faith are the “same thing”, you know
you are dealing with A) a liar, or B) someone who doesn’t know what science
or faith are to start with. I’m glad people like Jaclyn are willing to make
these videos, because I don’t have the patience to explain such elemental
things to half-wits.

Like Senpai November 17, 2013

Everytime someone says science requires faith it annoys me greatly, it
requires curiosity and the will to accept results that contradict your
hypothesis. Unlike faith which is “yep, this is right” then denying all
evidence contradictory to your assumption.

Vasiharan Mahilkanthan November 17, 2013

Awesome video. Great evidence. Good job. :)

Rosalina Angelie November 17, 2013

*cannot take the stupidity of that guy*
He’s saying that you require religion to be humane?! That humans need a
mystical omnipresent, omnipotent being to tell them the right things to do?
Aren’t humans supposed to KNOW that killing and rape is wrong, without
having to be told? Isn’t that just common sense?! In this case, if atheists
can be humane without a God telling them what to do, yet theists need to be
guided in how to be a sane human being, then atheists are truly smarter and
kinder than theists. Theists, who apparently have to be influenced to be
It’s also hilarious that he tries to bash rape, because many extreme
christians believe that impregnation from rape is god’s will. This video is
one of the many reasons why I love JaclynGlenn.

David Mercado November 17, 2013

Well the fact is that if you live for family, friends etc. Then that means
that humans have value and we can only give value if we have received
value! And the only proven”Value Giver” is and always have been GOD! oh and
FYI if you gonna read the bible keep it in contex, cause its very easy to
point at a passage(verse) and judge the whole text jus for your
convenience! These days we live in, evil is the new “Good” ppl killing,
movies promoting homosexuality and prostitution, drugs are becoming legal
now, abortion(murder) is just covering an accident and then move on, oh man
i could go forever!!, all these things comes from evil ppl 100% non
believers of God that live strictly by the word!

Huumm! Yeaaa! not surprised! After all it has been a fulfilling prophecy!

God Bless!

1 Corinthians 1:18

For the message of the cross(Jesus) is foolishness to those who are
perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Christine Fury November 17, 2013

So let’s see if I understand this guy. He thinks Sarah Palin is great, he
thinks that science is based upon faith and that the Bible is full of
historically accurate events for which there exists plenty of proof?

He’s an idiot. A really annoying one.

Without Jaclyn appearing and talking sense I’d break something having to
watch him longer than a few second intervals.

MrJames9201 November 17, 2013

So basically what I got from this video, the video that Jaclyn is
responding to, is that we need something, like religion, to tell us what is
good and bad, what is moral and immoral. That is complete bs

Adam Lam November 17, 2013

sorry, but I dont even bother to watch his whole video now after checking
out the clips in urs. . . he’s like beyond reasonable to me. esp the rape
part. i heard some religious people say if a woman is raped and pregnant,
it’s God’s will to make it so cause God doesn’t make mistakes. Therefore, u
cannot “kill” the baby. if God even makes that happen, why gay people are
bullies by religion then? they are also made by God or if they are not made
by God, something above God made them? their logic is just full of flaw and
inconsistent. btw. do they even know what is “logic”? also, this is the
dumbest sentence i have ever heard until today “and what if the laws of
physics are different in different galaxies? And who’s to say that they
won’t one day change in ours!?!!”

Martin Loxton November 17, 2013

“Science requires faith” – that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
Science is based on research, and conclusions drawn from experiments and
observations. Anybody can see this evidence for themselves. Nobody is
asking anybody to take anything on blind faith – nobody except for
religious people.

Jason Zimmerman November 17, 2013

I think you both seem pretty smug. It’s ok, I thought I knew everything
when I was in my early/mid twenties too. I’m no super Christian or
anything like that, but considering that space is 95%+ dark matter and dark
energy, and a lot of what scientists believe to be true is made on
assumptions about said dark matter and dark energy, I’d say there’s quite a
bit of faith involved.

Emma Moreland November 17, 2013

And of course science can’t tell you what is morally right or wrong, but
neither can religion in that case in point. You should be able to make your
own decision, on the differences between right or wrong A little redundant
from my last comment, but you all get it by now, right?

DJ-TRAXX November 17, 2013

Great video! I just subscribed and agree with what you said in this video
100%. That guy you were talking about deems like a total douche and I don’t
think I’ll give him any traffic. You posted enough of his video for me to
make a solid conclusion. I haven’t gotten to your other topics yet, but I
can see that some are just as controversial as this one. I’m not your
average, everyday Atheist (if there is such a thing), so I may not agree
with you on some other things, but that remains to be seen. Why are all the
pretty girls I meet in real life ultra religious? I can’t seem to get away
from it, but maybe it’s just a matter of population percentages. . .
