Good vid.

He sounds like a complete idiot…. Luckily we don’t get many of these Pea brained “creationists” over here in Europe. I can’t believe America (the most powerful country in the world) is rife with them. :(

The church recognizes that religion is dying at the hands of science, as it rightfully should. This is why they keep struggling to gain footing in education.

It’s called dumbing down america. Getting brainwashed in school’s. Children are not educated in school anymore it’s a social gathering with rule’s they have to abide by. Teacher’s are no longer teaching, their job now is a social sitter. Student’s not learning get passed on and on and on. oh how time’s have changed.

I live in the ‘Bible Belt’,and can’t stand it.They want churches to run every aspect of peoples’ lives. We even are forced to pay so-called ‘Sin Taxes’ on smokes and booze because they disagree with it.Churches should have to pay taxes just like any other business!

People fear change. Faith is unchanging. It is also a really bad tool for dealing with the world on a practical level. But they try anyway…

I envy Europe. :)

I read a book about the history of the number zero and some of its peculiar characteristics. According to that book the use of the number zero in calculations during the Middle Ages was referred to as devilish Saracen magic :-D

We should get all the creationists and the scientists in a huge field. We give each side the weapons they have developed. Scientists get guns and the creationists get prayer. Whomever is left at the end wins.

You are talking about one of the most corrupt and backwards states in the country. Warren Buffett put it like this a couple weeks ago…..” If you want to change the public schools in America, all you would have to do is ban all private schools.” Just think if Obama,Bush,or any of the rich, power elites in this country had to send their kids to public school. It would change and quick.

I am an advocate of peace. I consider violence the last resort. I would much rather wield the weapon of knowledge. It cuts deeper and has a more lasting effect.

Oh yeah. But notice how all the neo-cons support school vouchers… they want to take money *away* from public schools and funnel it into the private sector. Which is just the opposite of what we need. Typical.

I’m only joking, but I don’t think people realize just how dangerous these people are. The violence of the extremist muslims makes a big scary noise and everyone stamps their foot in disgust, but the effects of creationist censorship and idiocy is far more scary and damaging. They worship ignorance.

There are plenty of idiots walking around waiting to be preyed upon by an easy to understand load of tripe. We are the children of the age of reason and we are taking casualties.

I don’t think guns were actually invented by non-creationists.
